Renovation

The church council has been working on plans for a remodel of the sanctuary, hallway, restrooms, and fellowship hall. They have had input from the staff and others who use the building on a regular basis.

WHY WE NEED ADDITIONAL FUNDS

We received $1.5 million from the sale of the Leland Clegg and Epworth properties.

When we moved into this property, we spent about $750,000 for the new HVAC throughout the church, resurfacing of the parking lot, new lighting and new audio-vision system in the sanctuary.

In the fall of 2024, the congregation approved spending the remaining building funds for the remodel (about $760,000).

We have received gifts of $25,000 and $1,000 for the remodel.

The bid for the remodel was $806,000. Currently we are projected to spend $798,000.

We would like to raise $100,000 for the non-budgeted expenses for the remodel. Any money that we raise that we don’t spend will be kept in a building fund for future maintenance.
